Mayweather: Ward Did not win the fight

The irony is that everybody expected Ward to dominate "the limited bum" in one sided dominant fight, knock out was the only Kovalev's chance to win, but now it turns out that the fight was super close and the result could go either way. I'm that kind of person who says that Ward will win a rematch but if he had a close fight with "an overhyped limited brawler" who's best asset is his power, not skills, what does it say about Ward?

Kovalev had a great timing, which helped him to neutralize Ward on the outside, but people will never appreciate the fact that he was boxing on Ward's level, he's still a limited brawler with a punch in the eyes of most boxing fans and he won't make it to Hall of Fame. Most likely, his career is dead and finished at this point, Moving up to cruiserweight is his only option for achieving greatness.

I don't even like Kovalev as a person - he's too hot headed and undisciplined, but his boxing skills are definitely underrated

I have a lot of respect for Floyd, he should be a role model for a lot of boxers out here, the guy has his own opinion

I'm a Floyd fan. I'm not black . Never was a big Ward fan but I thought he'd win the fight . Thought Kovalev edged the fight with the KD in round 2 .

Imo he speaks well compared to the average dindu lol. Floyd had a drug dealing dad, a dope fiend mom, and was a school drop out. He did quite well for his short comings.

That is hilarious. A black guy said the black guy lost which puts his black fans in limbo. Which black guy will the black fans side with now that the black guy said the other black guy lost the fight. Will the black fans side with the black guy they've been supporting for so many years? Mayweather has speech impediment (stuttering). It's also obvious that he struggles to articulate his thoughts at times. Not every fighter is created equally and I'm sure that boxing since childhood contributed someway to the deterioration of his speech.
