Stevens is following the rehydration clause while fatty Lemieux doesn't have a worry in the world.
Lemieux has had problems making weight before. No drug testing for this fight. Lemieux is allowed to cheat and there's no penalty. He wasn't fined or had to compensate Stevens.
One guy followed the rehydration rule. The other guy didn't. Lemieux deserves no credit for this win.Last edited by SilverMiles; 03-18-2017, 09:08 AM.

I think people's beef with Lemieux was that he claimed he didn't know.
Let's see of Jacobs owns up or also says he didn't know. If he admits to purposely doing it then that's not as dishonest as what Lemiuex did, cheat then lie. If Jacobs lies, then they're equal.

Since when was Lemieux vs Stevens a title bout? Lemieux having no interest for an IBF he won before...
Lemieux has officially fought at 168 and various catchweight bouts above the Middleweight limit. It's safe to say that Lemieux prefers above 160...
the flavor of the month is to beat Gennady Golovkin, not a focus on the IBF. I guess the WBC and WBA allow ''cheating'' doe... as if beating Golovkin and getting the green strap and red strap have significance for Lemieux vs Stevens in a non title bout...

And something tells me if Jacobs was to win tonight he wouldn't consider the win tainted.

Besides all that, Jacobs has the opportunity for the WBA and WBC and the lovely IBO... so I guess those organizations acknowledge ''cheating?'' Because Lemieux and Stevens were in the spot to also benefit for a WBA or WBC? no...
