The two best middleweights are fighting next week. I was waiting for people to try and act like the winner of this fight mattered. It's embarrassing...the GGG fandom has resulted in people trying to hype up his poor opponents.
I think GGG is a beast, and will probably stop Danny next week (who is definitely the #2 middleweight), but stop trying to hype up these decent fighters like they're world beaters. You don't have to justify his opponents to claim he's a great talent.
Most people can't even name Hagler's MW foes, but he was great nonetheless.

Glad for Lemieux. He got a highlight reel KO and one of the two things will happen. Either he is going to be getting more high profile fights (which would be great). Or he would start hoarding other fighters towards GGG. If you're a middleweight now you might just think that since either Lemieux or Golovkin can knock you out (and let's face it, Lemieux's KO of Stevens was far more brutal than GGG's) you might as well roll your dice against GGG for better money.
Very interested in seeing what Charlo's moves at MW are going to be. Also, I think Saunder's days as a champion at MW are numbered. Staying away from one killer in GGG is somewhat doable. But how do you stay away from 3-4 killers at the same time?
One day we will see a rematch with Lemieux, but hopefully not too soon. Lemieux is still young, 28 against GGG's 34. Let's wait till Father Time makes it more of an even matchup.

I really don't know why anyone would sit and trade with Lemieux. There is a reason why GGG wouldn't do it. This has to be said, right now GGG is the most dominant, Jacobs most skilled and complete, and Lemieux the hardest puncher in the Middleweight division. I'd have to say that I think Canelo gets beaten by either of the three (although I think Canelo vs Lemieux is a pretty even fight). And I'm absolutely interested in seeing where Charlo fits. Looks like the Middleweight division may be gaining some of it's past glory.

Looks like Lemieux will be on the Canelo/Chavez undercard next.
