It's more to it than just that. When you've been in the trenches with some of these trolls for the last 3+ years you would understand why.

Anyway, I'm upping my bet to $300 on this fight so it should make me almost 2k in winnings.

But believe what you would like to believe

People have a fair argument when it comes to the GGG hype if we are talking resume's GGG is probably the most hyped professional fighter since rhonda his best win is vs a welterweight at 160 Jacobs will be his first solid victory at what 35 years old? Its just tedious having to read "He could beat a prime hagler!" ect ect if you put hagler in the ring with matthew macklin he would have been up on a murder charge

Im not saying he isnt good or possibly great we wont know until he concedes to being the B side against a fighter with credentials and proves it until then it all hype and BS

Oh, of course the claim of 154-168.

No one ever said GGG was weight drained, the people simply said if you are KO'ing Serghey Kovalev and Heavyweights in sparring, let's see you do it for real and not just talk.

Why is this so difficult for you Tampon Boys to understand??
And when has any GGG fan contracted this? 154 for Floyd, and 168 for any fights the fans want to see, is still what I would like to see as a GGG fan.

154 to 168. Just like he said. So where is the controversy?

Well I'll tell you. The controversy with all you GGG haters came from when a natural light heavyweight was draining down to 168 to fight smaller guys, because he didn't trust his abilities to beat guys his own size, while meanwhile GGG is already fighting guys bigger than him. And that natural light heavyweight is named Andre Ward.

How do I know that? Because Ward's own coach said he was a "scaled-down light heavyweight" when he fought at 168, and he said Ward walked around at least 190 at his normal weight when he was fighting at 168, and at 200 now.

So is GGG willing to fight natural super middleweights? Of course, he said 154 - 168. Hell, he will even fight unnatural ones. All I'm saying is have a little respect. Y'all acting like GGG ducked Chocolatito or some ****. It's bull****. Start calling **** like it is. Just because Ward was draining himself to the point where GGG and him were only separated by one weight class for a short amount of time doesn't mean they are one weight class apart.

According to Ward's own trainer, Ward is naturally almost 4 weight classes bigger than GGG, if you define weight classes as being between 7 and 8 pound increments. GGG's normal weight peaks at 175, and is typically 170. Ward's normal weight might even peak at 210 if we're speculating, but sticking to facts admitted by his own trainer, it peaks over 200 lbs.

So by natural weight, Ward is 30 pounds, or 4 weight classes, bigger. By weigh-in weight, Ward is currently two weight classes bigger. By fight-night weight after rehydration, Ward fights around 190, GGG around 170, which is three weight classes different.

So Ward is not just one weight class above GGG. He is naturally four weight classes bigger, but let's just average it out and say three weight classes bigger.

Do I want to see the fight if GGG can add muscle effectively? Of course man, all I'm saying is if GGG ever makes that fight, you should respect greatness. Don't act like GGG is fighting someone his size and it's business as usual. Instead be honest about GGG doing something unprecedented in modern boxing, a puncher without elite hand speed going up to fight an elite grapler with a natural 30 pound weight advantage.

You should give credit fairly, instead of being bias. Same if GGG fights Gilberto Ramirez. You have to understand GGG isn't just a 160 fighting 168 guys. If GGG drained down like Ward did at 168, GGG would be fighting at 154. By the standard of most modern boxers, GGG is a natural 154 pounder, but he's so good he fights at 160 because he can. He is so good that you guys think the only way a natural 154 pounder can lose is not even at 160, but at 168. And as I've described, even that undersells it, because 154 to 168 is still only two weight classes. Guys like Gilberto and Ward are actually 3-4 weight classes bigger as I've explained.

So when you guys judge these things, you should have the same standard for everyone else, not the GGG standard and then one for everyone else. If GGG fought Gilberto Ramirez, I bet you guys wouldn't even appreciate that. You wouldn't even understand that it would mean going up in weight to fight a 6'2, undefeated, prime southpaw with speed and power, a big height advantage, and reach advantage, who likewise naturally outweighs GGG by 30 pounds.

GGG would be moving up in weight despite already being small at 160, to fight a prime guy, without a big name (so low risk, high reward), with literally every single physical advantage, and it wouldn't even be close. GGG would look like Pacquiao next to Margarito if that fight, or the Ward fight happened.

But you know what? GGG is so good, he could still win. That's what's so crazy. But if he doesn't get as many knockdowns vs those guys, I don't want to hear ignorant fans saying that means GGG had no power after all, or some ****. I am trying to explain in advance so you guys actually understand what you'd be watching for once. You'd be watching a 170 pound guy against 200 pound guys, with height and reach advantages.

But don't forget one thing. Andre Ward moved up to 175 because he couldn't make 168 anymore. That's what I mean, he was drained down. He's already said he struggles to make 175 now. So this dude is not even close to GGG's size. GGG said anyone from 154 to 168. Not 175.

But I definitely want to see GGG-Ward. I think GGG should fight Floyd at 154, get that knockout against Floyd in the 2nd round, and then GGG will be the biggest star in American boxing not just world boxing like he is now, which will allow Ward to get the money he always wanted to get in the ring with an animal like GGG, and they can fight at 168. GGG goes down to fight Floyd, because Floyd is the bigger star, then Ward goes back to where he just was to fight GGG, because GGG is the bigger star. That seems fair all around to me. It's just logical. Really, since Ward was at 168 when this talk all started, he should be coming down to 164, or maybe Super Caneloweight 164.5 if GGG is generous. But, I don't think GGG is a phony champ like Floyd is, so I don't think GGG would do that. He would do 168 even though that would allow Ward to outweigh him by 25 pounds on fight night. But GGG is so good, he would do it.

That's what I would like to see. GGG fights Floyd at 154 in a fight that would get 3 million pay-per-view buys, in my opinion. Then if GGG knocked out Floyd, he would become the guy seen as unbeatable by everyone, and they would be looking at who is the guy who could beat him? Then Ward would be marketed as the guy who could take GGG's 0, and people would pay to see that risky fight for GGG, in a PPV that would get at least 1.5 mil PPV sales in my opinion.

Two great, historical fights, and 4.5 million pay-per-view sales. Sounds like a win win scenario to me. Even the weights would be win/win. GGG comes down for Floyd, Ward comes down for GGG, fair, balanced. Everything down the middle on the sporting side of things. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Meanwhile, Kovalev fights Stevenson, and then the winner of that vs GGG at 175 if GGG could beat both Floyd and Ward, for a chance for GGG to make even more history, would also sell huge PPVs I think. At that point GGG's legend would be at basically historic levels, so him going up even higher in weight to face an elite, huge punching LHW would also draw tonnnns of PPV interest, I think. It would be breaking all the rules. That would be another 1.5 mil PPVs.

I would definitely like to see that. And hey, it's a chance for Floyd to make history too.

To Boxing Logic - I like watching GGG but your post is just ridiculous based on very subjective opinion "..honestly GGG is just so good.." and very subjective conjecture "... I don't thing GGG would do that .. "

Never thought I'd say this about a fan of any fighter but especially Golovkin but you forced me into it >>> STOP FUCKING SUCKING!!!

7 1/2 lbs is a lot to lose in one week. Too much in fact,...IMHO. DJ will be too drained to fight an effective bout with a boxer of GGG's caliber. Sure DJ could pull this off with any lesser fighter and come out with a win, but GGG isn't a lesser fighter, and coming into this fight well prepared and a lot closer to weigh in weight. I'm not sure if DJ will even make weight. If he does it will be a short night with a hard beat down by the hands of GGG. I originally thought this fight would go five or six rounds, but now I'm thinking more like three or four rounds. Once GGG starts landing to the body and DJ's elbows drop, it will be all over for DJ. A week of draining down 7 1/2 lbs for a fight with almost a guarantee of incoming and relentless left hooks to the body is a dangerous combination,...or more like a recipe for disaster for DJ.

                      I disagree.

GGG resume ain't that great, definitely not P4P worthy.

But he definitely doesn't have a type of "Wilder bum of the month" resume where the best wins would be 2 small out of shape fat ass like Stiverne and Arreola.

GGG as a pro has beaten 5 former world champions in Geale, Macklin, Lemieux, Brook and Ouma.
Not the best streak of world champions ever, AGREED.

Brook was a WW champ and Ouma a SWW champ.

He also has beaten Lee, Direll and Bute, so 3 pro world champions in the ams.

So ams + pro dude has beaten 8 world champions yet we don't know if he's good?

You guys are so fckin harsh it's unbelievable.
