IBF should drop him from the rankings whatever the result.

Everyone knows about the IBF's 2nd day weigh-in. It's actually one of the BEST rules out there. And protects boxers from fighting jabba the hut.

I agree. Let's get it on...no excuses, just take care of business inside the ring!

How is it fair that one guy followed the rules for their contracted fight, while the other skipped them and did whatever he wanted?

Personally, I dislike when fighters shrink themselves down to a division then rehydrate for a big weight advantage on fight night. I know it's a common practice but it still seems unfair for the boxer that competes closer to their walk around weight......

Just looking for an unfair advantage!
                Hope it backfires.
Why not just move up in weight if you are having difficulty making weight.
There should be monetary penalties that goes to the fighter that actually follows the rules.
The fight game is dangerous enough without one fighter gaining an unfair weight advantage.
Not surprised at all that he is the one pulling this stunt.

Commissions need to require this not alphabet groups is the problem.

If you miss a 2nd day weigh in under a commission the fight is off, if its done under a alphbet group than you just don't get to add to your bs title belt collection.

Maybe he shouldn't have agreed to fight for it. And he should've informed Stevens. He's watching what he eats while Lemieux is feasting. It was a ****ty move

They are trying to stop the crazy weight gains some fighters do, trying to make the fight as equal as possible by enforcing some resemblance to a real weight limit on fight night.
