This is a new one from GGG. The 8 figure offer Canelo made to GGG after the Smith fight and GGG's boss Loeffler not only did he not deny it but admitted to receiving the offer. So the entire boxing world his promoter and trainer have commented on this offer NONE have denied it exists. And now GGG comes out playing dumb saying I haven't seen one? Then go talk to your boss because he's hiding shyt from you or GGG once again proven to be a fraud and liar.

But on topic , i am a big GGG fan and as much as i hate to say it its an ALL IN move by K2 on GGG boxing future , if it works and they can clean a 20M+ from the fight then its a success but if they fail the gambit and the fight is never made then GGG will regret it for the rest of his life from a "superstar" and money point of view , hope K2 knows what they are doing..... i want to see the fight.

2017 is turning out to be a great year of boxing. So far the best have fought the best. We had santa cruz v frampton, jack v degal, thurman vs garcia, and were soon to be getting klitschko v joshua, ggg v jacobs, pacquiao v khan. The fights we need to see are kovalev v ward 2, cotto v bradley, especially ggg v canelo, wilder v winner of klitschko joshua. Hopefully we get to see lomachenko and mikey garcia in some big fights and then eventually fight each other. Crawford needs to move up to 147 and challenge pacquiao for the wbo after a tune up.

Thing is, this is 3 fights out for the champ. He's got a big one next week, vs #2 MW. If this pretender is finally ready by Sept and comes forward in good faith, great we finally get to see it. Else Canelo might consider the mando route, if he wants his shot at a MW belt. He should go for the Wba regular first, for a better split

GGG is the undisputed middleweight champ of the world and the challenger is dictating terms? Boxing today is a joke! Ggg and his team should be dictating to Canelo because canelo never held more than one belt at a time and GGG has 3 out of 4 .. ...I get that canelo has suckers paying to watch him just because he is mexican but you cant disrespect a unified champ like this.

Canelo ducked ggg already and the burden of proof is on the man who handed over his belt without a fight like a coward. Any low life here who thinks GGG is ducking that coward truly is a special person.

Sad, but true.

A lot of people don't realize that promoters don't turn a profit on most fights. Or if they do, it's nothing significant. They either break even, or lose money.

They count on developing and building PPV stars so they see huge returns one day.

Oscar did do a great job with building Canelo, but now they're at a point where the sharks are closing in...

Of course a loss doesn't always mean the end of that fighter's profitability; it just all depends on how he is sold, marketed, and actually performs in the ring.
