yes, genious, i do type english (speak it sometimes. when i feel like it)

ill dumb it down for you....

the guys name youre looking for is the same guy who makes 10 mil a fight. i understand him wanting more than 15 mil to fight canelo. 5 mil bump is not big enough.

better or should i dumb it down further ?

Or - "how many asses in seats, and eyeballs on television sets is this fighter going to bring towards this particular fight"?

In the case of GGG regarding a fight with Canelo, well, there is a clear A-side, and that is definitely Canelo.

However, GGG is in the unique situation of NOT being a typical B-side "opponent." He is an "A-minus side," if you will.

So there we have it: GGG 35%/Canelo 65%. SIMPLE. DONE.
If the fight is HUGE and does $100 million. 50% right of the top goes to the networks and such.

        That leaves $50,000,000

        50,000,000 x 30%= $15,000,000

So if the fight is THAT huge it's a 70/30 split. The less it makes the higher GGG 30% goes up...

Well, unless he got a Floyd rematch, or Pac fight.

Maybe Cotto II, but since that is a 50/50 type of fight, I doubt Canelo would make what he could against GGG, with a 60-70% cut.
He seems to be doing VERY well against Chavez.

Yeah sure, Ggg fans are in denial. Meanwhile Canelo fans have had to try and justify Canelo picking a guy to fight at mw who couldn't even take a punch at 135 in khan, then giving up his belt after he said Mexicans don't f around, then moving down in weight to fight the weakest 154 champ in Smith, then choosing to now fight a known pothead who quit 2 fights ago at a ridiculous catch weight of 164.5 after saying 160 was too much for him for ggg just months ago. These are known FACTS that Canelo fans have had to defend. Not some coke head like Oscar making generalized comments about some contract that nobody has heard the specifics of.

He should go for the Wba regular first, for a better split
Ggg is demanding a contract, is already in his promoters desk, he needs to sign or stfu...

Canelo has 2.5 mill, ppvs not counting his fight with floyd, ggg has 97k... how come golovkids talk about ppvs at all??
The gap in ppvs is going to be even bigger after the chavez fight...

I didnt justify the khan fight at alll, i called that bs, going up 8 lbs was too much for khan, but then the golovkids had the nerve to make excuses when ggg dragged brook 13 lbs...

But on topic , i am a big GGG fan and as much as i hate to say it its an ALL IN move by K2 on GGG boxing future , if it works and they can clean a 20M+ from the fight then its a success but if they fail the gambit and the fight is never made then GGG will regret it for the rest of his life from a "superstar" and money point of view , hope K2 knows what they are doing..... i want to see the fight.
HAHA! You got me there. I forgot about Klitz. Good CATCH! And I would of lost that bet.

Khan was a JOKE! Can't defend that. But just 4 months ago in December Chavez was GGG's DREAMFIGHT! And you guys were ALL down for that. But now he's a BUM por smoker?? And if you didn't figure out why they chose Smith then you got a screw missing.

Canelo named mandatory challenger for Saunders.
