Good fight. They both played it safe and just boxed.

Thurman jumped on him early. Danny just didn't throw enough punches.

    UD Thurman.

        UD Thurman.
I saw it live drunk and the sober. Danny has a great poker face. He was hurt in round 1 (could be the 2nd)

        Bright side won 10$

Yea, Thurman caught him cold in the first I believe and pretty much set the tone. I thought danny could have picked up in the second half as I thought they were both doing good and pretty much even work.

Thurman just threw more punches and Danny didn't, IMO.

No real reason for a rematch at this point. If Danny didn't sense he needed to step it up big in the last couple (championship) rounds. I don't see him doing it in a rematch.

          Just my take.

One thing I liked by Danny was that uppercut on the inside to Thurmans body

Neither pushed themselves to do anything great that fans would remember.

And I'm done with all these fighters who get a real spotlight and are happy to win a decision.

You got the spotlight because fans wanted to see greatness, not a negga dance around to a close but decisive decision. Fck out of here with this bs.

Both fighters were definitely looking for a decision. A conservative fight - which was pretty predictable considering the stakes, and the guys involved. Neither of them were willing to put their neck out there to finish it.

It was a clear UD for Thurman, and unfortunately, the SD on the cards gives Danny (well, Angel more so) an opening to run their mouths and fish for a rematch. I sincerely hope Thurman and his Team move on to bigger and better things - don't buy into the garbage that the Garcia's will spew.

And for ****s sake, stay active.

A stylistic stale mate, but none the less the boxing was quality boxing, happens a lot when styles dont mesh for a great all action fight, I enjoyed it anyway.
