$50m over 14 cards isn't that much, and Schaefer and Sauerland alone don't have access to that many top fighters. I doubt it'll truly be a Champion's League for boxing, at least in this first iteration, but hey the more boxing the better. It could be a coming-out party for a few of its participants like the Super Six was for Ward and Froch

This looks like it could be something if they get the best guys in a division to fight.

I'm liking everything I've heard so far it helps Bring American and International fighters together to fight more instead of doing it once every 4 years at the Olympics

Draft gala in June...will finalize weight classes in next 6-8 weeks. No. 1 ranked fighter will pick who wants to fight.

As soon as fighter loses, he's out and back to his prior promoter...after some good exposure, says Schaefer.

I love it! However, this will only get legs if top quality fighters actually join the tournament. The Super 6 worked because it had the best fighters at 168 (sans Bute) getting it on.

Yeah, which means they need to pick inexpensive divisions, perhaps cruiserweight could be one of them

Could be interesting. Wonder what level of fighter they will get to participate.
