Say what you will about Davies but he's a go-getter. Great PR move here. If you watched his post-fight interview last weekend then you'll know that it's all an act and he seems like a decent guy underneath it

Floyd kind of owned him with the "The WBC only comes in gold" line though

So he felt disrespected because Floyd thought he was 130lber not a 140lber? Davies should fight Khan then he can get accused of being a 190lber and feel better.

Mayweather is the type of guy that will take offense if you don't laugh at his jokes or remind him that he is the GOAT. If I was a fighter I would not sign with Mayweather Promotions, I would rather sign with a promoter that I can trust and respect and have a business relationship with, not someone who requires me to be a friend/cheerleader in order to do business.
It's a perspective of a nerd. You think fighters will look at this and say ,"oh Floyd disrespected Ohare im not signing him". If that's the case fighters don't want to sign to GBP because Oscar is a crackhead dope fiend ******. You'd rather sign to GBP with a crackhead/******?
And Stevenson himself said Floyd didn't make him a offer and Garcia ended up not signing with GBP and other promoters. So what was the reason he didn't sign with other promoters lol?
You sure seem to make a lot of assumptions about a man you never met a day in your life. Has anyone told YOU that he takes offense when people don't laugh? Y'all just be making up all kind of weird **** on here lol
If that's your reason for not signing I wouldn't want to promote you anyway. You sound like an emotional high school female I would.

I agree with you about the guy following Mayweather around multiple times. He should have just been like "dude doesn't want to talk to me, cool". Just my two cents.
That a not what happened at all. Theophane didnt introduce him Lmao Ohare was a regular at the MBC Floyd already knew him. The whole conversation was over Gervonta Davis and he stood up for his fighter.

But he really needs to take a back seat, he must realize it's not all about him anymore it's about "his" fighters, I can see him being worse than Eddie Hearn in front of the cameras trying to jump in front of the fighters for a picture
Bull ****! It's the reporters that always make it about him. It's Floyd's job to attend press conferences for upcoming fights and answer questions just like all the other promoters out there. The only problem is that they keep asking Floyd questions about him and his career instead of about his fighters.

Also, he never jumps in front of the camera. When Gevonta and Badou Jack fought, Floyd stood to the side and allowed his fighters to answer questions. Then only after they were done did the questioning shift to Floyd (like it always does with any other promoter out there).

Floyd even stood out of camera shot intentionally for Gevonta's post fight interview. Serious you guys need to get a life and stop tryna poke Floyd's ass.

I am just basing it on what Davies said. He said that Theophane told Mayweather "...this is the WBC silver champion" and Mayweather said "I have a 130 lb champion....let's get it on". My only source was this article so there could well have been another version. If you are right then Davies is in the wrong. Peace.

To be fair I don't think Floyd even knows what a WBC Silver belt looks like?? Or one even exists.
