Hahahahaha You Wilder fans make me laugh. You have no problem with him fighting bums and never called for any of then to earn a shot. But here we have a threat in Ortiz and you're crying and making your excuses.

If Wilder got in there with Ortiz and beat him, it would silence a lot of the doubters. It would prove Wilder to be legit. But no, just excuses form Wilder and his truly pathetic fans.

    You deserve each other.

Funny how they avoided Haye but are now keen to face Bellew for earning a shot at the title, by knocking out a man with one leg.

I wonder if Wilder would be keen to face a one legged Haye?

This just exposes how certain fighters avoided Haye believing he was too risky, as they didn't realise he was a shot fighter.

Wilder has said he wants Parker since he was called out in the Ruiz fight, before his Washington fight and after. He wants Parker for those belts. If he doesn't get a championship fight, why wouldn't he take a money fight? I swear people are deadset on hating on my man wilder. What option would be better for a summer fight?!?!?!

            Wait...

So Ortiz hasn't done enough to earn a shot against Wilder, but Szpilka, Duhapas, and Molina did? (Not counting Washington/Wawrzyk here)

            Okay got it

Haye was wildly inactive and NO ONE stateside thought he was a bona fide contender and this fight proved it. He's a shot fighter and doesn't garner nearly the attention you give him.

I've been a Wilder fan since he won a medal in the 08 Olympics. I showed up at the arena super early to catch his pro debut on the Taylor-Lacy undercard in my hometown. I've gone down to Birmingham several times to see him fight. I've even defended most of the criticisms to his level of competition.

That said, he's at a point where IMO, he needs to step it up. He needs a statement fight. Bellow isn't a statement fight. IMO Parker isn't a statement fight. Obviously, the Klitschko-Joshua winner is the biggest statement he can make. Tyson Fury appears to be coming back. Hell, I'd be satisfied with Ortiz. Either way, he needs to **** or get off the pot.

These guys don't fight to prove to you that they are legit. They fight for belts and money. That's not an excuse...that's reality. I'm not sure why you seem to not be able to wrap your head around that concept. Seems like you and a lot of folks come in here crying like mitches and criticizing fighters for doing exactly what fighters do...Fight for championships or money....and hopefully both at the same time.

Did I say that? No. I said it's his job as the challenger to put himself in position to get a shot...either as a mando or as a money fight. To date he has done neither.
