There have been numerous examples of fighters injuring themselves just by moving around the ring, or swinging and missing. I've never seen or heard of any that were ruled NC or technical draw, unless there was some infringement of the rules.

What happened to Haye was "within his control" because he was moving of his own volition .. he wasn't pushed, tripped or wrestled over.

If there had been water on the canvas - as when Kovalev twice slipped in the rematch with Pascal - then he might have claimed "circumstances beyond his control"

As it was doe, he wouldn't have had a leg to stand on with a claim like that, lol.

I honestly don't think the acilles ripping is under Hayes control.

But its a tedious point. I honestly think an injury like that should lead to a stoppage of a fight and then a consultation of the scorecards.

Haye wasn't winning the fight easily, dumbo. He may have been ahead on the cards after 5 rounds - I don't know about that, because I haven't seen them - But Bellew was obviously focused on defence and biding his time till then.

Even before the injury, I noticed Bellew was starting to step in with his punches in the 6th and looked to be sharing or even winning that round.

He was winning the fight easily. It's OK you predicted Bellew would come on late and he did BECAUSE HAYE'S LEG ****ED UP BY ITSELF. Now you want to claim you're some boxing expert. Bellew got lucky, the whole world saw it.

The injury was not a result of any action from Bellew, he 'won' by default. This is a no contest in my mind.

That was because he and his cornermen knew that if he didn't continue he would lose!

BHop injured himself by falling out of the ring after being pushed by the ref. If he'd fallen out of the ring while moving under his own volition, without anybody touching him, he would have had 20 seconds to get back in, ready to carry on fighting, or take an L via TKO.

History is written.. doesn't matter what you class it. Haye shouldn’t have fought if he was injured, and if he wasn’t injured during the first half of the fight.. he still looked awful so lose lose situation for Haye.
