Someone please explain the Canelo MW situation to me as I don't follow the alphabet soup.
As far as I know; Canelo forfeited the MW belts. Fought for, and won, a JMW title in his last fight. Is scheduled for catchweight fight. Is still MW champion? What am I missing?

I doubt any of us truly believe that Canelo is a middleweight champ but it helps the Golovkin haters sleep better at night.

They have Stevenson ranked above Ward and Kovalev, Canelo (recently Cotto) above GGG at MW.
