Danny was elite at 140 imo. Granted he had some close calls but if you think he won all those fights then it's hard to argue that wasn't. Is he elite at 147? No.

As for Thurman he's a little unproven. Porter and Danny are two good wins, but he needs to beat someone who's in the top 3. Until he does that I wouldn't regard him as elite. Beat Pac or Brook now, or Spence if he gets past Brook, then he's elite.

Some of you have an odd definition of outboxing. I gave Brook two rounds out of five.

I believe both are good fighters, the top class of that weight division (amongst others). But op is right, it doesn't make them elite. Garcia earned his online nickname "the gift" for a reason. Thurman doesn't have the "one time" power anymore against good opponents. He's turned more methodical and boxes his opponents.

These two aren't, and most likely never will be l, prime PAC and may. I know, mind blowing stuff

You don't boxing if you don't see them as elite.

Thurman and Garcia would destroy the same guys that "Prime Pac" destroyed.

You're in no position to say Garcia and Thurman are not elite.

Not unless you're better than at least one of them

Go to a boxing gym and spread that **** around..you'd get shut down, and quick.

Lol, when top fighters fight each other this is what happens. The fight is competitive and some fans come out and say the fighters aren't really all that.

It's the Canelo-GGG syndrome. Canelo has fought elite fighters like Mayweather, Lara, Cotto and who was considered elite at 154 at the time Trout and Canelo didn't look spectacular so he's "not that good". GGG on the other hand looks great, awesome, spectacular so he's "Really good".

Wait until your favorite fighters fight an elite guy too and watch him look normal.

Kell Brook beat Porter but let's not act like it was some amazing performance where he destroyed Porter. It was competitive, but Brook clearly won. Thurman-Garcia was competitive, but Thurman clearly won. That's what happens in good boxing matches.
