He is not very effective coming forward, so Why was that never a game plan for boxers? Take him out of his comfort zone and make him reach with his shots and counter him?
Floyd can fight on the front foot and in various ways including in the telephone booth. He is probably the most complete fighter of this generation When he fights on the front foot he calls it walking down and the opponent will be in real trouble, basically a punch bag.
He didn't fight many opponents who were taller or had a longer reach. Not just that, but both of those attributes, plus athletic. No way he ever needed to come forward otherwise.
its about skills....NDo....Chicanito Hernandez.....Oscar....Corrales were all taller than Mayweather....he didnt use the same style or tactics for any of them
Judah tried to box him, it was downhill when floyd switched to a high guard, body shots and walking him down.....Floyd is smart, crafty and adapts better than any fighter ive seen mid fight...its skillls not athleticism but they do play a part.

Those guys, imo, really didn't fight tall against Floyd and what I mean by that is, use their jab to keep Floyd on the outside because that's not their game...Floyd eats that type of fighter for lunch

Judah actually did pretty good in their early rounds, but Floyd went to work once Judah started gassing as well, but Floyd had already proved he could outbox a fighter who could really box, but didn't have any height or reach advantage...
The only person who had an actual "meltdown" in that fight was that
brain dead ****** degenerate roger mayweather...
Blatant fouling (low blows, then rabbit punching) costing yourself points you can't afford to lose, then joining a brawl with the opposition cornerman at the risk of disqualification or injury.
