It was obvious the shot stung him but he was in no danger whatsoever of being knocked out. Garcia stung thurman with body shots in those early rounds. Not only that but the crowd was cheering loud every thurman shot and so was the broadcast team. Danny got no credit whatsoever for all his counters and big shots he landed himself. I thought this fight was a draw. Thurman didnt do enough to take the belt from the champion. This fight was rigged before it even started

I dont think garcia was robbed but there were many close rounds which i think should have gone to the champion, but i guess it all depends on the judges interpretation of the fight. It did seem very much like a pro thurman crowd and broadcast team

Yea i know, they gave all the close rounds to thurman, garcia is champion too he should have been given more credit for his good counter punching in the beginning and pressing the action in the late rounds

Garcia could see it from a mile away, thurman put a lot into that punch. I'll bet Garcia saw black for a split second.....no doubt.

One of the best chins of his generation, guy took some solid shots and ****** it up and still tried to win!

Too bad he pressed the action too late, he was holding his own in exchanges and when he threw punches he was having success instead of waiting to counter(although he caught Thurman sometimes but was close to timing him perfectly and could've been real bad for Thurman).
