Thurman looked to me like he was the king of the division. I dont think anyone beats him at welterweight for a few years.

As for p4p, hes definitely on my list(will have to look for the list I posted to get an accurate rating).

Thurman is a great action fighter, but his skills are not the greatest and not elite... his greatest asset is his will to win and heart IMO
While I think Bradley is a better fighter his resume at welterweight is piss poor. Thurman's wins over Garcia and Porter are better then anything Tim has. Unless you count the Manny robbery

Yeah he should enter the list in the 8-10 range

          I would agree

But I don't think Welterweight is anywhere near the best in the sport. I'd argue it's become barren since Mayweather retired and Manny is cashing out

These guys were already p4p. Fight fans are just conditioned to accept or believe things that, if they really thought about it, makes no sense.

147 is still wide open. Last night was a nice match-up but it was still just a fight between two top 10s, not #1 vs #2 or even #2 vs #3

And even if you don't include resume, you really think Bradley is better than Thurman?
Bradley is better than Thurman. Has quicker feet and good upper body movement. Can't punch that hard but throws his shot with good form. Thurman throws wild shot and throws off balance shots half the time and he doesn't know how to utilize a jab.

Whats so great about Thurman resume? He have two good wins and the rest is ass. Even his good wins I've been saying how overrated the whole ww division is. Danny is basically a generic version of canelo who i think is also overrated and porter seems to not know how box and just rely on his natural athleticism.

I love Bradley but he's not p4p. Further, both Thurman and Garcia would beat him. And a few other welters. The Jessie Vargas win is decent at best. And the Marquez win was four years ago. Bradley is trending way down.

of course. people got crawford in there top 5 ffs yet thurman isnt worthy of a spot after beating porter and garcia? Hes an elite fighter in the best weightclass going, hes in my list for sure.

I don't have a top ten list, but if I did, Thurman wouldn't be on it.Surely there are 10 other guys who, in the biggest fight of their life, wouldn't run around and avoid their opponent in the last 3 rounds because they thought they had the decision " in the bag". He literally ran from a smaller, less agile guy all night. That's embarrasing, not praiseworthy.
