Who thinks he should have pulled Haye out? When Haye limped back to the corner after the 6th there's no way Adam Booth would've let him get back out there. I think Haye was still in the fight to the end, but he took a lot of punches. I'm still not sure.

Losses are going to happen, but the fact that nothing that McGuigan did led to Haye getting beat shouldn't be ignored
What are you talking about? Haye was a sitting duck and Bellew simplydidn't have the power to stop him. No strategy to survive.

I doubt top level fighters like Frampton and Haye would choose him as a trainer if he wasn't good at what he does

Yeah I was surprised Haye went out for the 7th. Booth definitely would have pulled him out.

I can see why he wasn't pulled out after that until the 11th as Bellew nearly punched himself out.

            I agree with that.

I kind of feel Frampton is a very good fighter in spite of Shane McGuigan, not because of him. Frampton would be a world class fighter with anyone, he's very talented.

I still don't think McGuigan is a bad trainer on the back of his latest defeats. Lets be honest though, most of the credit he gets is a lot to do with his age, rather than his ability as a trainer.

Awful trainer. A glorified Fitness First instructor.

Hayes biggest mistake was falling out with Adam Booth who is not only a good trainer but a very good strategist who can offer advice between rounds. Shane is just a yes man who does as he is told.

Just about every fighter he has trained was already made and gone to cr4p in his hands completely neglecting their jab and just about everything else that got them to where they were.

Seriously think he is more a personal trainer than a boxing trainer. Just fortunate his father is who he is.

Haye literally couldn't move because he was on one leg; he was a sitting duck once the Achilles went.

So what did Shane McGuigan advise? Sit in a corner, keep the head moving, and try to catch Bellew when he was on the inside. And it worked !!!

Haye eventually ran out of space, Bellew caught a wind and closed the show, but McGuigan gave him the tactics that gave him a chance on one leg.

HOWEVER..... Shane McGuigan, is a ****house
Booth is top notch, IMO - one of the best trainers out there.

He has a great boxing IQ.

Shane dksab anyone with eyes could see frampton was behind on the cards and shane tells him to keep doing what he's been doing? Haye probably woulf have one the figt within 6 if Boothe was in his corner. Everyone is absolutely correct about shane be a glorified fitness trainer he has a boxing iq below 40=******
