Watching beatdowns is not the reason why I'm into boxing.

But that doesn't mean I can't watch a masterful performance by a great boxer.

PBF dominated him and PPL become so forgetful,in America we call them Monday morning quarterback's meaning that now that the fight's over they claim they knew PBF shouldn't of fought him. They did the same thing in the Corrales and Zab fight's when many of these same ppl picked these 'Lack of test' to win! To the guy that says PBF is over rated and what not but yet Hatton is similar and age and has not even a snippet of PBF's resumee. And over rated should be the last thing coming from Hatton fan's, I wonder what they would say if PBF struggled with Collazo, or if at 35 a green Lacy was his claim to fame(Calzaghe). If there is anybody who is over rated you don't have to look to far. What's funny is that Hatton is talking about fighting the same Gatti that PBF was ridiculed for slaughtering, and Calzaghe's talking about fighting people from the contender LOL. But PBF's over rated?

          Amen.

People also accusing Mayweather of not fighting Hatton or Cotto at 140. After both of them watching this live, they both quickly said they wanted nothing to do with Mayweather for a while. Hatton apparently needed "tune ups" before facing Floyd, even after beating Tsyzu.

Gatti fought the wrong strategy. He should've taken Floyd to the ropes early and mauled him and make him work. As it was Gatti boxed decently and made Floyd miss many shots for the 1st three rounds, but it wasn't winning him the fight or weakening Floyd. Floyd is way overrated, so just remember, you heard it here first.

Wmute I was thinking the same thing, if he wasn't on his game then I don't know what is and I didn't see Gatti making PBF miss. I thought that's why Gatti said he's too quick after the fight.

Honestly, I thought Gatti was capable of doing better. He didn't win the first round, but he looked ok up until the knockdown. Gatti should have been paying attention, instead of complaining to the ref, and once he got knocked down, he seemed to completely lose his nerve. You could tell he became tense right away after getting knocked down in the first round. Doesn't really matter though, because it would have been a Mayweather victory anyway, but I think Gatti was capable of a little bit more.

No ****, right? Floyd's hit percentage was unreal in that fight. Gatti couldn't do anything. The only difference in the first few rounds is that Gatti didn't just stand there and take it, he tried running a bit, but he realized he was outmatched. I'm not a fan of Gatti or anything, but I really felt bad for him watching that. It was brutal, not as brutal as Lacy's beating was though.

Maybe, but it's not like Gatti's never been down in a fight before. What it came down to is exactly what Gatti said post-fight, Mayweather was just too fast for him. He was too skilled as well, but the biggest factor in that fight was the speed of Mayweather. Gatti couldn't find him at all, and that's why he could never get his punches off. Even had he bullrushed Mayweather he would have still been too slow, and Mayweather would pepper him with shots the whole way in, and Gatti still would have been TKO'ed; he was simply overmatched.

About LondonRingRules, I've read a few posts by him before, big time Hatton/Calzaghe fan, it would seem, and a total PBF hater. Who said they wanted tune-ups before fighting PBF? Oh, that's right, it was Hatton. Who has the names of at least four world-class fighters on their resume? Right, right, Floyd does, not Hatton. Who's beaten the better fighters? Floyd, that's right. Manfredy, Coralles, Chavez, Castillo, and Judah were his best competitors, Coralles, Chavez and Castillo moreso, and Judah wasn't really expected to win, but Manfredy is no slouch (at least, he wasn't before that fight with a 25-2 record). Granted, Floyd hasn't done a whole lot these past couple of years, but he's done about as much as Hatton and we should be seeing some major fights from him soon, now that his name is more out there, and he's a bit more of a draw.

One more thing, if/when Hatton and Pretty Boy fight, Hatton's gonna be brutalized much in the same way that Gatti was. Hatton struggled with Callazo, and Callazo (Colazzo? not sure how to spell his name properly) is half the fighter Floyd is. Hatton would be well-advised to never fight Floyd. Same goes for Cotto, we'll see how he does against a slick fighter soon, though, assuming that when he fights Malignaggi. If he can handle him, he might have a shot fighting Floyd, because he's a good, slick fighter like Floyd, but not really on Floyd's level.

i didnt watch that video.. i saw the fight twice.. it almost brought me to tears.. gatti definately went in with the wrong strategy.. he tryed to box with him. he should've brawled and keep throwing barrages of punches.. if u watch his body language during the intro.. he was a nervious wreck.. i wont ever watch that fight again.. its not funny either..
