yah this fight was a great fight for floyd but in the build up i thought gatti was gonna win , the way he was talking "im gonna throw punches at hes shoulders for the 1st three rounds so that he cant hold a high guard or throw punches then im gonna ko him. sounded a great way to beat floyd and them bam hed need more luck hitting floyd from 2 feat away than he wud hitting the ringside doctor

** Brutal? Floyd never got on his game until the 4th. The first 3 rounds were milquetoast except for Floyd's 2 deliberate fouls in the first that he was never warned or penalized for. If Gatti didn't swell up like a balloon maybe down the stretch it might have become brutal.Originally posted by deliveryman
Gatti fought the wrong strategy. He should've taken Floyd to the ropes early and mauled him and make him work. As it was Gatti boxed decently and made Floyd miss many shots for the 1st three rounds, but it wasn't winning him the fight or weakening Floyd. Floyd is way overrated, so just remember, you heard it here first.Comment

u guys should get onto youtube or break or some ****. how sick can u bastards be to love to watch something like that...i dont get it. thats not even boxing, thats a gross beatdown, if thats wat ur in boxing for, i advise u get off this site , and get on a site like break where u can watch as many of those as u want without having to worry about boxing.Comment
