Haye being humble, but I'll wait a week before giving him credit. Willing to bet he cries about the injury to every reporter that will listen. Can't change yer spots...
He learned to not make excuses because of the "toe jokes". I think had to bite his tongue pretty hard this time. I'll give him some credit for at least learning to do that....but you're right, tomorrow he might be singing a different tune.
Haye hit Bellew flush in the early rounds and he took it, earned Hayes respect. Haye fought on for 5 rounds after the injury, earned Bellews respect. And fair play to Haye for not mentioning it even when prompted.
But he said he could beat bellew with one arm and with injuries too. Thats why its so funny, because he talked so much **** and couldnt back it up. Almost reminds me of the klitschko fight.
Respect to Haye for fighting through whatever happened to his leg/ankle. And f#ck he's gracious as f#ck in defeat & trying not to even mention the injury. And massive respect to Bellew who I honestly thought had a 2% chance of winning & he made the most with that 2%.
Pretty Ricky vs Sideshow Bob II.
... Bellew even said the truth about him in boxing... (I think he would only take this rematch and quit the sport)...
