The man was already injured before the fight.

Probably why he was missing by miles and had poor balance from the start.

Haye was injured before he stepped into the ring, it explains why he was missing an so off balance

He probably went to Germany to take a shot to numb the injury

Props to him for not making excuses, but he should have called the fight off before hand, but then people would have slated him
