They said the same thing about Garcia with Matthysse....

    "Danny looked scared tho"

They project their own beta-male fears. Danny is laughing inside because as we will all learn on Saturday night...Danny is a subtle notch above Thurman when it counts. He will bring his A game and Thurman will be humbled.

Rod Salka helped DSG prepare for Thurman.

It seems like when DSG is going to fight a seemingly weak opponent, the opponent does way better because they caught DSG sleeping on them. In the fights where Garcia knows there's danger, like Khan and Matthysse, I thought he actually looked pretty good in both despite what some say about how he looked in the Matthysse fight.
What? A fight in PR 'coming home' and he had nothing to prove or felt like he didn't need to? That just doesn't sound right.

Lol he didn't. It was a gimme fight to them. A showcase fight. He couldn't showcase, you know why? He underestimated Herrera because of that very reason, he thought he was a showcase opponent.

So no credit to Herrera? Despite Garcia showing that he struggles vs a jab and movement? Come on.

Herrera clearly showed that he's not just some opponent you could showcase. So of course a lot of credit should be given to him. But you can't ignore that DSG took him lightly, Herrera wasn't what they thought he was, which is some journeyman you can just KO in front of your people.

lol... face offs don't mean much. And both guys didn't seem to back down. But that was a punk move by Garcia ...
