yup same GGG supporters who spent most of last year talking about other fighters ticket sales and attendance are now either changing their tunes or avoiding this. We are mins away from this event starting and there are complete rows still available on ticketmaster. Eyeballing almost 20% of arena.

And this isn't even counting the amount of free comps they probably already handed out. Time to go to the homeless shelter and start handing out free tickets in the streets.

Will be interesting if K2 releases live gate figures or lies to broadcast that it's a sell out crowd.

At least 1000-2000 seats unsold on ticketmaster mins before event started at 7pm. And that's not even counting any comp tickets they have already given away. If they call this a sellout they are bold face lying. If they say sold anywhere near 17k they will release the live gate figures. If they don't it will only be because they actually sold far fewer. Now it's time for K2 to hit the streets and give away a couple thousand free tickets to try and increase the attendance numbers. LMAO

        Golovkin-Jacobs gate = 3.7 millions. Almost 20k seats sold.
        Ward-Kovalev II gate = 2 millions. 6k seats sold.

Many of you GGG haters should be ASHAMED.

Shows that Jacobs is a bigger draw than Kovalev.

Right, that's why he sold only 8k in Brooklyn against Quillin and made 300k in TV ratings.

Jacobs sold 8k with Quillin. If not for him bringing so many fans the Jacobs/GGG fight wouldn't have sold out.

Ward unfortunately had Kov in Vegas. Kov can't draw flies to shit. His fights in Montreal sold because of the opponents. Bhop was the draw when they fought. Most Ward fans knew he'd win again so they didn't show up for the rematch.

If you see something different, tell us.

I see Golovkin selling out every one of his fights. Whether it's against Jacobs, Willie monroe jr, or anyone else.

And I see your excuses for Ward.

Maxi, stop being an ignorant tool just for shits and giggles.

Jacobs/GGG was promoted well. Ward/Kov 2 was a promoted HORRIBLY! The low numbers are because of the putrid promotion. Ward/Kov shouldn't have been in Vegas. It should've been in Oakland or NYC where a number of eastern europeans and russians live.

Roc Nation and Main Events should be blamed for those numbers IMO.

GGG is popular, no doubt. He sells more than Ward. his tickets are very inexpensive compared to other top names. He also fights in smaller venues. He gets the benefit of HBO pushing him more than anyone except Canelo.

His 1st fight in MSG was with another local fighter who had shown an ability to sell a bit but it didn't sell out-indicating that he can't carry an "event" level fight.

WHy do you have to try and make him more than what he actually is?

Tickets cheaper? then why is he generating a gate of at least 2 millions every time he fights? 3.7 the last time and more than 3 milliions in the UK as well.

Selling 20k tickets and you say he fight in small arenas? wtf?

He had one fight in MSG. Please don't act like he fights in arenas that size in all his fights.

You are always over exaggerating what GGG does.
