The A side has spoken.
Loeffler: GGG willing to Give Canelo "A" SIDE to Make Fight!

Was he ever not going to? If so, that's a disappointing snag in negotiations. I can understand wanting a fair split, share of PPV, etc. But Canelo has always been the A side. Maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention, but I never knew that was even in question.Comment

Let me translate:
Loeffler has seen the the presale numbers from the Jacobs fight and, crapping himself on how low they are, is in full retreat.
Good fight, not nearly enough promotion for it tho. And it will cost them in the negotiations, especially when Chavez?Canelo sets the year's record.Comment

Y'all, of course Canelo is the A side.
But they are NEGOTIATING. Have you ever negotiated things? You START negotiations with as many claims as possible, short of sounding ridiculous. You don't give up ANYTHING without noting it as a concession.
Loeffler has to act like he's giving up something. That's what managers do. If he didn't, hed be a crappy negotiator.Comment
