this far out im not expecting a lot of definition on jr. But he looks better than you would expect with the reputation he has. to be fair im rooting for jr not because im a fan but because im not happy canelo took this fight. this gives me a little hope this makes me wanna order the fight and if jr is really giving his all i will watch it and root for him....viene jr!!!!Not a lot of definition on Chavez body. Maybe that's just his body type but it's not like he looks totally jacked. On the other hand, he looks healthy and if he can make weight healthy, it could be a decent fight. As long as he trains hard and makes weight healthy, he has a chance. Would have been nice to see him totally ripped though in a way he hasn't been for years, to really sell the fight as we're getting the best Chavez ever. And who knows maybe we still will, but his physique is not to mind-blowing levels at this point. Still two months to go though. And he does look better than expected.Comment

How is this beast mode? He looks like he's having a giggling fit due to malnutrition

And his torso doesn't look remotely defined enough to handle Canelo's body shots. In fact, look at his ribs...they're protruded and an easy target. Shame on Canelo. Even his eyes are glassy, the poor guy looks drained as ****.

jr's durability and weight will make this an entertaining fight.
I seriously doubt he will be able to last twelve rounds with Canelo the way he leaves himself open.
defense isn't a part of jr's game, neither is slick boxing.
the best tactic is to come in as heavy as you can and make it a street fight, lots of clinching and wrestling, wear down Canelo, and hope he gets arm heavy and tired. GOOD LUCK...
that aint happening.Comment

the way we prepare for a fight at our gym, is going beast mode on the first weeks, and then easing up on the training the last weeks.
Commenting on the thread: Chavez already looks like a zombie at 182 pounds, he's going to look terrible, but i'm hoping he gives a good fight, on peds or notComment
