There sure were a lot of complaints about the results of those fights afterwards though. Especially here. A lot of you even tried to take credit away from Garcia afterwards. With Matthyse he was accused of cheating with the knockdown. With Khan it was just a lucky punch. If people weren't bitter about those fights why would they complain so much?

But Garcia did cheat in that Lucas knockdown. He may not of done it intentionally or anything like that, but it was illegal according to the rules.
If you're tied up in the ropes, your opponent is not allowed to hit you. Danny opened up on him when he was tied up with a barrage of punches.

I wasn't looking for a DQ or anything, but 5 minutes rest to recover and a 2 point deduction should have done the trick. Had that of been the case, Lucas would have won on the cards.

Lets not forget the ref stepping in when Lucas landed a bomb due to Danny's mouth piece coming out. The ref should have waited for a lull in the action, not stepped in to give a hurt Danny time to recover.

The fight was handled badly, there's no denying that.

The khan fight was no problem for me as I don't believe there are any lucky punches in boxing.

he fought morales when he was shot and well past his prime and had no business fighting at 140.danny gets no credit for beating an old fighter which is why his best wins are still lucas and khan.

I favor Garcia simply because I believe if the fight is close they'll give it to him.

I got Thurman winning this fight but if it goes to decision, ohhhhh I could see Garcia getting that decision smh

For Garcia's sake, this better just be trash talk. Thurman is easily the best and most dangerous opponent he has ever fought.

This is true, but hindsight is 20/20. People were much more confident that Garcia would lose against a few other opponents than they are with Thurman.

People dont hate Garcia because of that. Garcia is hated because:

1) His father. The dude is garbage.
2) When he isn't fighting the Salkas of the world, he is receiving a gift decision.
