You're right, if he beats Brook, in my opinion, he's the man. I just don't see any guys lining up to face him.

If Spence beats Brook and the others refuse to fight him after that then there's no other word to describe them other than duck.

I think Thurman was being fair when he said Spence had to do something to earn a fight with him.

It doesn't matter any more now anyway. If Spence is able to topple Brook he'll have earned the right to get the big fights at Welter.

I really dislike the of "earning the right" to fight a champion. EVERY champ had some easy opponents who didn't do anything to earn a title shot.
