Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman Explains Why He's Not Afraid To Let That '0' Go

By Thomas Gerbasi - Saturday night, Keith Thurman returns to Brooklyn's Barclays Center to face Danny Garcia in what most would say is the biggest fight of his career. The WBA welterweight champion doesn't necessarily agree. "I actually put it in my head and say it's nothing special," Thurman said. What? Two unbeaten champions in their prime fighting in a unification bout isn't special?...

Good for him. Rooting for Danny Garcia, but I respect Keith

If only more fighters had this kind of attitude.

But it is also on us boxing fans not to immediately dismiss fighters who get a loss or two.

Thurman has a great attitude. Doesn't matter who wins on Saturday because when you have fights like these, the fans and the sport wins. I just hope there isn't a robbery.

That's why I like Thurman -- he's self-consistent... (I hope he is able to stay at the distance)...

                    Thurman is a warrior.

Garcia will find out this Saturday.
