There's three criterias in my p4p list
1 - Resume
2 - Skills
3 - Future potential - For example, I can't deny accomplishments of fighters like Pacquiao and Klichko, they're future hall of famers, but at this point they're past their prime and there's no potential for their careers to develop further, so I'd replace them with young talents in my p4p list
1) Roman Chocolatito
He might be one of the best fighters ever in his own weight class. I thought that the winner of Kovalev/Ward will be the leader of my p4p list, but that fight exposed their flaws, so there's no clear p4p leader for me
2) Andre Ward
Boring, ugly, but effective and a hell of a resume for today's standarts
3) Vasyl Lomachenko
He has a solid resume for 8 fights, skills and future potential, people act like Walters fight never happened, like they were never saying it's a close fight, like Walters wasn't considered a top scalp, that's the guy who KTFO top 5 p4p fighter in Donaire, you can't get a scalp of higher value than Walters, that was THE best possible fight for Loma at 130 and he dominated that guy, at this point everybody at 130 and 135 is a mismatch for Loma except for Mikey Garcia. Combined win/loss ratio of Lomachenko's defeated opposition is crazy compared to other fighters in my list
4) Bud Crawford
That's my another favorite. I'd want to put him higher on my list, but Postol wasn't an impressive scalp for me (you can't expect a guy with no amateur experience and low KO ratio to beat Crawford, he doesn't even have a lucky punch chance), and Gamboa was too small. Other than that, there's nobody who can beat him at 140 at this moment. I want to see Crawford against Felix Diaz
5) Sergey Kovalev
It doesn't matter how close that fight with Ward was, it's still a loss on paper. Kovalev is more than just a puncher, I think people overrate his punching power but underestimate his boxing skills. He's not too consistent and disciplined to be higher in my list though
6) Rigondeaux
I expect him to get out of my top 10 p4p eventually, because he's aging and struggling to get meaningful and relevant fights that would cement his position in my top 10 p4p list. But you can't deny he has an elite scalp in Donaire. He has all these 2 criterias I was talking about (resume and skills) but he doesn't have that third criteria, I can't see the future potential for his career yet. I hope that will change soon, because he has hall of fame kind of talent
7) Golovkin
I can't deny that he's the man at 160, but he needs to beat Danny Jacobs (certified 2# in the division) for me to even start thinking about having him in top 5. If he beats Canelo, Jacobs and Charlo he's in a top 5, without a doubt but I think I just can't put him above Lomachenko and Crawford, because of his age
8) Canelo Alvarez
I don't like his style, I don't see nothing special about the kid except for good counterpunching, and his footwork is too cement for me. But he's young and he got a lot of time, and maybe he's not even in his prime yet. He's the biggest cash cow in boxing and based on that fact alone, he deserves a spot in p4p list
9) Mikey Garcia
I like Mikey Garcia, he has amazing timing and accuracy, the only thing that I don't like about his style is that he looks like he's headhunting too much and doesn't go to the body even if there's a great opportunities for that. He has p4p kind of talent, I've had him at 10th spot and that was an advance to his skills but after his win against Zlaticanin I think he'll be the problem for everybody out here
10) Oleksandr Usyk
Amazing handspeed and footwork for cruiserweight. One of the most skilled cruiserweights ever, making all other fighters in that weight class looking like stiff bums. And he has an elite scalp in Glowacki, I mean, some p4p guys like Golovkin doesn't even have scalp of Glowacki's caliber in their resumes
