This is not necessarily a thread to discuss the validity of each list but rather how thesel ists are put together and what you hold to be your criteria. And ofc a record of how it will change over the course of the year (if at all)

        Mine is as thus:

        1. Sergey Kovalev
        2. Roman Gonzalez
        3. Gennady Golovkin
        4. Saul Alvarez
        5. Vasyl Lomachenko
        6. Terence Crawford
        7. Manny Pacquiao
        8. Naoya Inoue
        9. Shinsuke Yamanaka
        10. Juan Francisco Estrada
too hard to rank em bro

        they change so often

        Ward
        Chocolatito
        Kovalev
        Loma
        Yamanaka
        Crawford
        Danny Garcia
        Canelo
        Pacquaio
        Stevenson

INoue, GGG and Estrada are one break through win or 2 from replacing 2 of these guys

I weigh heavily on resume, level of opposition and success in championship fights. Also I give a lil extra love to fighters who won titles in multiple divisions

the eye test is important, but any good fighter looks good until they face top opposition

Most people have GONZALEZ at number one. There is absolutely no rationale for putting Kovalev at number. 50 year old Hopkins, past prime Pascal and a ****ty perfomance against Ward with one division championship. Stop with the sour g****s, no one in their right mind would put Kovalev at number one.

                  But why not?

I assume you are really pissed off at ward not being number one but I never had ward on my p4p list before fighting kovalev. If he had beaten kovalev he would have slotted straight into my p4p list. If he had won in dominant fashion top 5 at least.

I said all this before the fight and predicted ward to win.

What unfolded we all know. So I won't repeat it. On the back of that ward does not deserve to find a place back on the list.

After the top five it gets tough.
