Or how about when you're fighting for 3 years in between Jr middleweight and middleweight, the difference between the 2 divisions is 6lbs, Its unreasonable to think he should fight a middleweight at the middleweight limit though because he's a "star".

Canelo is playing his fans for fools if they buy his bull****, its shocking that boxing fans not only accept it but support and defend it as well.
I already commented on this a while back, Alvarez messed up when he stuck his foot in mouth, it's understandable to me because he spazzed out on a adrenaline rush and didn't realize what he said. Canelo was supposed to do what Garcia and Ward did, take tune-ups fights as he gradually grows into a higher weight class but casuals don't understand that so now he has to go by what he said or else the hype for the fight will slowly die out.

And these types of matches are nothing new - DLH vs May/Pac were bs fights too.

Send me some of that good stuff you been smoking. Like GGG would ever let it go to the judges. Have you ever seen any of his fights? What made you jump to that conclusion. Only the ganja i guess.

Facing Golovkin as your first legit middleweight is madness.

What happened there? did they increase the offer or are they just lying about it? if they are not lying, did they prove that Golovkin is correct in negotiating instead of accepting whatever ***** they wanna throw at him? yes.
Canelo said no such thing. He said they made and offer, De La Hoya said it was 8 figures, people assumed it was $10 mil.

Canelo had a chance to defend his WBC middleweight title against GGG for the champion's end of the money. Canelo gave up his title instead of fighting GGG for it. Make as many excuses as you want. A 65/35 split of the money in Canelo's favor would be a fair offer and would probably be accepted. You are one of the more extreme GGG haters on here. To you GGG can do nothing right and you will side against him every time and make everything his fault. You are free to hate on GGG to your heart's content for whatever your reasons for such hate are.Your opinion on anything to do with GGG is bias and not fair and therefor worthless.
Khan got $6 million. It was in the court documents for the Haymon suit. You keep running around lying.

"Alvarez-Khan generated revenue of $27,707,448 and was Golden Boy’s most profitable fight of 2016. Khan made $6 million and Alvarez made $13,309,664 (80% of the net profits) while Golden Boy made net profits of $3,327,415.88."

They could talk about who ducked GGG worse in the build up to the fight
all im saying is that canelo might take tune-ups...but they wont be against genuine middleweights. He will leapfrog over and under until ggg is a little older and pehaps by circumstance a liitle heavier at 168. Two things i often think about are...firstly...back in the day why werent people calling on everybody to fight kostya tszyu...people like mosely or delahoya?...and secondly if everyone thinks both canelo and jacobs can beat ggg...why not call for a canelo jacobs fight. Yea yea...business sense and all that...popularity and social media driven price rises

Idk about that I just know what Oscar and Canelo said previous to leaving 154 for Caneloweight. I and most boxing fans didn't just dream up the last couple years of Canelo 155lb fights.

And no, Golovkin isn't his number one opposition, Canelo had no intentions to campaign at 160 he just went for the best fight available and took the occasion to become a 2 division champ in the process. Facing Golovkin as your first legit middleweight is madness.
Canelo and Oscar have stated numerous times they would have little to no problem fighting GGG. And idk that 4lbs makes any difference on winning or losing. I'm actually on record here as saying Canelo beats GGG. I personally just think Oscar knows GGG is the biggest threat to Canelo and even if he thinks Canelo has a 60/40 chance to win today he wants to try to wait GGG out til he's a lil older and Canelo is 80/20 to win or even perhaps GGG loses and they can avoid him altogether.

I can't wait to see the list you pull from your ass.
Your only avoided if you don't bring in the money to make it worth it.
Floyd beat everyone, yet there was no shortage of people willing to sign up to take an L as it meant a great payday and more exposure.
Mike Tyson wasn't just beating guys, he was changing the direction of their lives with his devastating power in his prime. Even still guys were calling him out left and right as they knew they would make career money even if it meant ending up in the Tyson highlight reels.
Now with BBB side, you have a guy that is knocking out bums but can't afford to pay any opponents with options what they are worth. Guys are looking at him and asking why should they take a loss and not get paid? Makes no sense. They can make just as much if not more fighting lower class fighters and keep winning.
No one is avoiding Canelo because he is currently the biggest draw in boxing and a big payday.
                    BBB side? Not so much.

I don't think anybody has a problem with a fighter moving up like you said but Canelo took that to another level and now hes in a spot that makes him look really bad to a lot of people and its his own fault.
