alot of variables to consider for this fight.

ward will be better acclimated to the weight this time around imo so that should help him out a bit. he was timing kovalev much better the second half of the fight and had a consistent body attack, and i believe that it will carry over to this fight so he wont have such a late start again. early on he was extremely wary of kovs power (for good reason), and wasnt attacking the body until that second half.

on the flip side though, kov is looking for blood because he disagreed with the decision so that may or may not work in his favor. he may become too aggessive and get careless, or perhaps he can control that aggression effectively to dominate early again. he needs to make some minor adjustments (more body work, jab more throughout the fight, pace himself more) and he'll have a chance to get the decision this time around.

overall, should be a similar type of fight again imo. both highly skilled, elite fighters at the top of their games. kov will have his moments, ward will have his. i believe that it will be another controversial, but a bit more decisive victory for ward time around

Ward will win much easier this time, Ward will go to the body and Kovalev will hold for most of the fight, but then again Kovalev is a beast, so Idk, it's still a 50/50 fight

Ward wins the rematch, he will not care he will make it very sloppy, avoid getting knocked down this time and get a less controversial decision but it will leave fans crying about his style which is what they been doing anyway so

He took a big shot from Kovalev, got dropped and got up laughing and he recovered from it. Sure Kovalev can Knock Him Out he has that type of Power to KO anybody at 175 but I think the second half of the fight carries over to the rematch in which Ward gets inside and smothers Kovalev making it difficult to get off with his Power

boxing judges have so much credibility. they had wilder beating washington before the ko i guess he was winning right? why not come up with a credible argument instead of an appeal to authority? like ward landed more punches...ok cant do that. ward ladned the cleaner flusher shots...ok cant use that one either. ward was the ring general? ward uhhhh was outboxing him? try to use the vague ones because theres not much to use here!

Kovalev knocks him out in 6-8 rounds. I think he's going for the kill with a better gas tank and I think Ward will be expecting that which will make him more defensive which will be his downfall. Ward mostly scored on jabs. That's not gonna do much for a guy like Kovalev looking for a knock out this time around.
