    • Fair enough. Stiverne should had fought Povetkin for mandatory position. Now Stiverne deserves title shot, it his not his fault that Povetkin cheated

      • The fact that people are blaming Wilder for this just proves that the hate is real.

It's not his fault Povetkin doped against him or Stiverne.

It's not his fault that Don King got Stiverne a title shot

Hell, he hasn't even accepted this yet. He just fought two days ago, the WBC is mandating this.

Nothing I said would indicate to a person of reasonable intelligence that I thought the WBC had to pay the purse.

So you're either an idiot, a troll, or both. Either way, it's very clear you're a failure in life and we both know it.

The point is that with Wilder receiving a slam dunk ruling, receiving $5 million to NOT FIGHT, the idea of Stiverne receiving a ruling that he's entitled to a title shot is not far fetched.

So if you're the WBC, why do you want to fight King in court when there is absolutely nothing to gain? There hasn't been a mandatory in two years. There's no reason to delay one any longer. WBC gains nothing by fighting Stiverne on this issue, but would be taking a big risk.

Why would anyone do something that is a big risk with zero reward?

But I can understand why you'd be confused by the way successful people think.

You keep mentioning Wilders ruling and the WBC having such stock in that , that it means they wouldnt want to fight stiverne in court over sanctions he himself agrees to as a WBC fighter.

Wilders purse was guaranteed, stiverne winning was not. They are two entirely seperate and removed examples lol.

I love how from your previous comments where youve mentioned this, up to this one now.. the tone you have used suggested the WBC was unwilling to go into court, disregarding they have the agreement and sanctions on their side, because there is a high risk they'd lose, now when presented with evidence as to why theyd categorically win.. you switch to it not being "far-fetched".

You are the only person on this forum that I have seen since this mandatory was called, that believes it is anything else than the WBC and don king doing what they have done together for years.

Snipey remarks about how someone is a failure in life on a forum about boxing.. **** me precious calm down.

Wilder's purse was guaranteed if the bout took place. 99% of the time that fights are canceled, nobody gets paid.

Don King rejected the eliminator with Ortiz. He took the legal position that Stiverne already trained for Povetkin, the mandatory is long overdue, and as the highest ranked contender, Povetkin's doping shouldn't delay his title shot any further.

You can argue that King may not have ultimately prevailed in court, but what did the WBC have to gain by fighting that battle? Nothing. What did they risk by fighting that battle? Potentially millions. If you haven't noticed, ever since the Rocciagini situation, the orgs cave quick if they think there is any chance of them losing in court.

So? I'm also one of the only people on the forum that has worked behind the scenes in the industry for decades. My perspective is often different.

I notice you didn't deny it. We both know it's true. Very obvious from your posting style.
