I guess coming back and finding a way to win accounts for nothing in boxing today Hurd figured it out and never gave up that stands for something IMO. Showed Heart and Will!

Hurd simply needs to use his shell backing up and keep his guard up going forward. His walk down shell doesn't allow for him to unleash the jab or defend the jab smoothly enough.

Harrison has pretty good skills, but little to no resistance. Body language said it all. Kudos to Hurd for being patient and getting what he was looking for. He'll have a tough time holding the strap for sure though

I hope they keep Hurd busy, but develop him with some easier opponents first. I don't think he's ready for the likes of Jermell, Andrade, or Lara. Feed him a Terrell Gausha or some of the euro or Japanese guys rated in the IBF. I think J-Rock beats him. J-Rock can outbox him like Harrison was doing, but is stronger and has better stamina. Hurd's a big JMW, but not as big and strong as Jermall was.

I believe so, he said after the fight that was his game plan. A lot of people on here are giving Hurd crap but I've seen him box and do it beautifully. I just think they knew Harrison was going to fade and was waiting to jump on him which he did. I'm telling you now if anyone is looking at this fight to gauge how he does against other top 154 pounder's, don't. It's fools gold.

Well there you go, the winner or Vitu and Mattano (who J-Rock easily destroyed), will be Hurd's first mando. Hopefully he gets another fight in before that one to keep him developing. Haymon should really throw Gaushaw to Hurd, while he's still undefeated.
