Kept wondering what his corner was advising him to do. Gutted for Izu. Definitely shows his ring inexperience but still an excellent prospect.
Glad Dominic got the Win otherwise he would slip into a serious depression if he got back to back Ls

IU took a big step up in this fight. He went from fighting trialhorses to fighting a fringe contender. No solid journeymen in the middle. It's tough to make that step. DB took his best shot & got up to score the TKO. DB has power & heart which will keep him in the mix. I enjoyed that fight...

That was like a sloppy hamburger. All over the place, but it was GOOD.

He didn't have height weight experience he had no advantage except being in better shape but some how he got gassed and your right should have boxed turned it into a sloppy slugfest

That fight was as fun as it was ugly.

I think IU was kind of surprised that DB took his best shots & got up fighting back. He had no answer for that. I kind of saw the David Price deer in the headlights look when Thompson got off the floor after taking his best shot. He was tired & the wind got taken out of his sails. I think that is a perfect example of why guys need to get some rounds vs durable journeymen before they step up. They need to learn to conserve energy & have to face some adversity before they are really ready. That's where guys like Fred Kassi, Nagy Aguilera & Derric Rossy come in to play. You need those guys to develop fighters. Guys who can go rounds & give you a solid night of work. Blasting out overmatched opponents is not going to develop a fighter.
