I don't think Diaz has done anything to earn a shot but I want to see it just because people think he could actually beat Bud.

The TC camp are avoiding Diaz like the plague. End of story.
No I am not saying or implying that Diaz beats him. Simply saying that Diaz is good enough to not worth the risk as far as they are concerned.
"Pricing" him self out is all bull*****!
"Nobody knows him" is also bull*****!
Diaz is good. Make that very good and a live dog.
Stop recycling Granados!!
TC is supposed to be the best at 140. Make the fight happen and cut the BS.
TC can hire Granados as a sparring partner to prepare for Diaz if he wants to.

The Burns fight is meaningful because Crawford said he wants to become undisputed at 140. Maybe I'm the fool for believing what these guys say.
If he's not trying to become undisputed at 140 why is he still there? To fight Lundy, Molina, and Granados? Whats the end game?
Besides Granados stopped a much hyped contender/prospect in Amir Imam and just gave Broner just about all he could take (according to some here, haven't watched the fight), so if Crawford dominates and stops Granados then it will be a statement might, then he can fight the winner of Burns/Ingongo.

But I agree with him in terms of meaningful fights that fans are interested in.
Golovkin gets slack for using the whole "unifying" thing as an excuse to not face threats from above or below, so from a fan's perspective, the same should apply with TC.
Personally, I won't knock him for unfying, but facing a guy he already beat, just because he has a belt, might tick some people off, and i get that also.

Diaz isn't a top challenger because he's not even ranked at 140. Or belts and rankings only matter when they suit your agenda?
Fact of the matter is there are no worthy challengers at 140 at the moment because fights need to happen. Once these other contenders sort it out Crawford will have a legit opponent by the end of the year. In the meantime, all he has to do is stay busy.
If Burns is the last man standing, then he would have earned a second opportunity. As of today, it's a crap fight and that's why it's not happening yet.
I don't care what the ranking bodies say. Diaz is better than Granados and that was proved in the ring. Not by some ranking bodies.
