Parker/Fury Almost Even With The Odds

Shockingly Parker only -170 favorite over Hughie Fury, the talentless cousin of retired undisputed, lineal, universal champion Tyson Fury, Hughie is yet to beat a ranked opponent compared to Parker who has already beat 5 top 50 opponents

I might bet some big money on Parker since he's such slight favorite

Probably because Parker looked so beatable against Ruiz jr, but that is still a surprising line.

Fury by decision in a close fight

Fury looked even more beatable against Kassi, I would also pick Ruiz Jr over Fury atm

Surprising. Hughie has never really proven much of anything. I keep waiting for him to get better (because he has potential) but I've yet to be impressed.

Parker gets overrated IMO, but he should be the clear favorite to Fury.

My guess is the oddsmakers expect bets on Fury due to far more people in the UK betting than in NZ. A lot of people bet based upon personal bias, nationalistic or whatever. But this is just a guess, if it's a US company only taking bets from Americans then they may only factor in how Americans are betting. It could be that although Parker is the safer bet, Fury having a famous name is causing him to be overrated. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened with a fighter. Odds might change closer to the fight as more bets are placed. Parker a close favourite is not that big a shock anyway, he probably wins a copetitive decision not an easy KO.

How much are you putting on Parker?

Probably because Parker looks worse everytime out and stylistically Hughies a pretty bad match up for such a limited plodder with no head movement and a lousy gastank.

Like every fighter Kevin Barry trains he appears to of a taken a step backwards right when you think he's due to put it all together.

                    Hughie by decision.
