Given Roy's ties to the Soviet Union, Russian Roulette appears to be the game he's playing. Every time an opponent throws a punch , he's looking for that single round in the chamber that could turn one of the all time greats into Gerald McClellan. It's no longer sport. It's a morbid window into a Boxer's abyss.

He should have retired years ago in my opinion. At his best, and that lasted a long time, he was probably the most gifted fighter I've ever seen. Together his reflexes, speed and power were nearly unmatched.

He was like the Michael Jordan of boxing in the 1990's.

Hopefully this retirement gets added to the list of all of the retirements this year.

I hope Roy see's all of the other greats like Klitschko, Marquez, Bradley, Cotto, Mayweather and maybe Pacquiao retire this year and say that he will definitely retire too. It's way, way overdue for Roy.

If they do all retire this year then the Ballot for the HOF in 5 years time is going to be crazy.

                      A generation is 25 years.

Roy Jones Jr is easily the greatest fighter of the last 25 years.

                      WAAAR SUPERMAN!!!!
