I agree with you, I definitely remember people picking Porter at the time especially with him coming off the Pauline M KO. So am not sure how anyone would accuse a mandatory of ducking the champ. Not sure why some people feel the need to rewrite history, just because there are people out here, who actually wants to see a Brook v Spence fight.
brook v spence - history repeating itself...

Brooks only had 1 legit win against good competition. If Spence beats him. He already have the better resume.Comment

I definitely thought Porter would beat Brook but that's because I never heard of the guy. He is a solid fighter who deserves respect as one of the top WWs. There's levels to this though. Spence will show that he is SPECIALComment

Exactly I don't even recall people saying Wilder would duck Stiverne and we all know his track record on facing top opposition. If you've never had a title before and you're the mandatory, it's a no brainer to take the shot.I agree with you, I definitely remember people picking Porter at the time especially with him coming off the Pauline M KO. If the TS had his way this fight would not be happening.Comment

Brook was his mandatory he was never accused of ducking Porter.
Porter (or the IBF champion) was the fight they were looking for for ages.Comment

I have nothing against Spence, however I'd laugh at all the butthurt folks who will make excuses for him if he loses this one.
Errol "The Hype" Spence it is until he actually beats somebody with a pulse. Now is his chance.Comment

Same with Golovkin. Both of their resume sucks. If Jacobs beat him he is out of the top ten.Comment
