A- ...... he does have the skills but he really doesn't have that clear and dominant win over a quality fighter in his peak to put him at A or A+. He just barely got by Lara and Trout who were B+ and B level in my opinion.Comment

Solid A. When he fought Floyd he was pretty young and inexperienced, plus he's a defensive counter puncher - asking him to pressure and hunt guys like Floyd and Lara is a stylistic nightmare. He's also constantly improving is only just entering his prime.

I rate him a B+. We still don't really know how good (or deficient) he is because he hasn't fought enough great fighters. He looks like he's improved since he fought Mayweather but we don't know how much he's improved. His stamina and his footwork make me leery of giving him a generous grade. He could be rated anywhere between a C+ and an A but we can't know the answer if he continues fighting shot guys like Angulo and small, chinny guys like Khan.Comment

He has improved tremendously over the years and keeps improving. I think he would easily beat the guys who gave him a close fight in a rematch. He has fast accurate combinations with real power in both hands. He is fearless in the ring. He has a great chin and he is a vicious body puncher. Larry X knows boxing and he gives him an A+. I believe in Canelo and always bet good money on him to win.He gets an A+ vote from me.Comment
