An overrated, spoiled, fat Irish kid who has had everything handed to him his whole life due to being a cute redhead in a white worshipping part of the world.

When he steps in the ring with a real man of steel like Gennady the kid will fold.

Agreed nothing much to split those two, GGG is a level above but he's winning fights on strength not skill, same as Canelo really but I feel he's a small margin above Lara, dude has more heart, strength and durability, Lara has the skill he falls slightly short.

If their is a level for every one of them Floyd is elite A+ GGG A Canelo A- and Lara just behind him but still A- IMO.

Boxing is about levels, very fine line levels in some instances but ultimately something has to separate these guys same applies with Ward Kovalev, Ward is A+ and Kovalev the same as GGG at A, both wouod obviously beat GGG though even with GGG and Kovalev being about the same level as Canelo and Lara are though Canelo just shaded it.

Great fighter, but for whatever reason has made terrible decisions career-wise but thats only my opinion.

Great resilience, but got givena lesson by Floyd. If he has the durability, i think he outpoints GGG.

lOl at the delusionals. Canelo is BLESSED he's not in with the primed vargas, winky, tito and delahoya. Yes even primed vargas would have beaten nelo or had a great shot.

I don't think your method is valid here. Concluding he's B level only based off of these matchups is flawed because as we all know styles make fights and you're not taking into consideration individual skills. Molina and Lara also fought an even match, yet Molina is an inferior fighter.

Lara and Canelo are completely differnt fighters. Lara is one dimensionally great with little variation in his game. Canelo is an all around good fighter with a wider variety of skills, although he's not great at any particular skill set.

Marquez didn't win a round against Floyd either and he's obviously an A level fighter. On the other end a guy like Maidana was a tougher matchup and won more rounds than both, and even surpassed Pacquiao's performance.

That's a great point. But let me phrase it this way.

Shouldn't an A fighter, be able to adapt to all styles?

Maidana struggled with Alexander's jab jab turn and grab style so it showed he's a notch below elite. Lara struggled with Angulos rugged come forward style so he's a notch below elite. Canelo struggled with Lara's movement so it's the same issue.

On purely heart how would you grade Canelo? I'd grade him C+
