he should have stopped him in the first round, when he caught him cold and could hurt the guy. after that Zhakiyanov walked him down at will

Yep that's exactly what happened. He tried to work the body mid rounds but by that time the other guy was stronger than Shee. He got straight bullied last night. He was doing to much complaining to the ref. You could see Shee fading while the other guy was getting stronger. His inside work was beautiful. Using his head to work Shee while was complaining. He learned how to bully from the best. (That's Hatton with the towel on his shoulder)I didn't see the fight but sometimes an early knockdown is the WORST thing that can happen for you. Most turn into a head hunter the entire fight and give up all else??? Is this what he did? I doubt he stuck to the game plan and just treated each round like a new fight???

Warren you lost bro. I was going for him to win and I thought he was gonna finish ZZ in the 1st or 2nd round. ZZ just turned up the pressure all of a sudden i don't know where he got all that energy from but he just started bullying Warren and rushing in Shawn Porter style. Warren should have been the aggressive fighter he had the early advantage. However that 116-110 card was a stretch.Comment

Sweet! Good for him!!! Hopefully training keeps his mind off his other things. Not bad training a guy to win a major title.By chance you talk to him? Or just played it cool??? I usually don't bother famous ppl seeing them is good enough for me but If have chance saying hello ain't bad.Yep that's exactly what happened. Rau'shee has always fought like that.
He starts crazy strong and fast then slows down to the point that he doesn't do much or even anything. That's why he always lost at the Olympics.
By the way, Warren gave Rigondeaux a tough fight in their amateur days. I know there was a thread a weeks ago that said Rigo was never in any tough fights in the amateurs, so there you go. Warren was one of them.Comment

Some good comments here. Ref never warned Rau'shee for incessant holding. Ref always pushed ZZ back. Ref missed (ignored) 2, maybe 3 knockdowns, including the 12th. Jive Turkey Larry Hazzard Jr had his back, no surprise, but the other judges were on point. Thank god Adalaide Byrd or Julie Lederman wasn't there. Rau'shee almost ready to go in last round. Amazing ZZ came back from brink of disaster. But once he settled in, he was the effective bull, forcing Warren into retreat.Comment
