how did he control ruond 10? how did kov get dominated after round 6 when he clearly won 4 roudns and the other 2 were super close. you are trying to create something that isn't really there. the illusion that the fight was somehow close just because the judges got it wrong. punches tell a different story. kov was in control throughout. he not only landed more but also higher quality punches in most the rounds so all he needs is qualified judges which is hard to get in this sport.

They refuse to believe facts they don't even know that landed shots is the highest form of scoring.

Landing is scoring, only one of four scoring criteria though. If you believe only landed punches are how to score a round I suggest you log off and affiliate yourself with the rules of scoring, this should be amusing when you explain the others.

You start thread after thread after thread about how much better Ward is than Kovalev. You keep saying Kovalev himself thinks he lost. I get it that you just love Ward to death and desperately want to convince this board that Ward won the fight and will win the rematch even easier. You are in the minority who think Ward deserved that win. Polls have been done and about 76% of fans and boxing writers think Kovalev was the rightful winner. About 12% thought the fight was even and remaining minority of about 12% agree with you that Ward deserved the win.As far as who was responsible for all the holding, wrestling and clinching, Ward is the boxer who is famous for using these tactics. Kovalev has no history of excessive clinching. If Ward is so confident of winning the rematch why is he stalling and threatening retirement? Kovalev wants the rematch, the sooner the better. Kovalev is the confident one.

why do people say ward took over the second half of the fight? kov did just as good in teh 2nd half. they must look at the judges scorecards and see that they scored all the roudns for ward and think thats actually what happened but film of the fight tells a different story.

round 7: kov landed more and landed the higher quality punches

round 8: close in lands but i felt ward landed higher quality punches so he wins it

round 9: kov landed more and landed the higher quality punches

roudn 10: kov landed a lot more and higher quality punches

round 11: close in lands and close in quality very close round ward maybe

round 12: kov landed more while both landed high quality
punches but kov hurt ward so pretty clear round for him

where is the ward domination...where is the take over? its not on film. so kov wins 4-5 of the first 6, and at least 4 of the last 6 and he loses because ward wins 3-4 close rounds? what can he do different...pray for justice

I didn't care for ward going into the fight I never said anything bad about him I actually thought he would win if he survived but he didn't and you could see the look of defeat on his face after the final bell and the way he has handled everything post fight is just pathetic.

I think he was absolutely uncertain he was going to win as anyone would be in a fight that competitive, make no bones that was toughest fight of his career against the bigger man. But for someone to tell me he is impartial with a Kovalev avatar that is just laughable, you fail on every level of attempting to convince anyone you have no biases.

Check my post history pre November I'm defending Kovalev at every turn against his detractors, I was posting my anticipation for the biggest fight of the year I did not think their was a clear favourite. Outlining my respect for both st every opportunity and applauding them both for taking on the best like so many others refuse in their prime. I've nothing but admiration for Kovalev but GGG fan boys desperate to discredit Ward are making it ugly for genuine Kovalev supporters with no stakes in this fight other than desperate to see Ward lose as to determine no need for the match up we all wanted before Ward had to move up to get the biggest fights in the sport.

Clear agendas are at play here, these guys are desperate not to see an another American on top of the sport again after years of butt hurt and anguish. I'm neither American or a Floyd fan, I'm from Europe but I ain't racist and I sure as fück ain't prejudice unless its regarding a cheating doping inbred gypsy who conned the real heavyweight champion.
