Anyway enough of the childish stuff, I just see the obvious which is a hungry young power puncher against an aged chinny ex champion who has not thrown a punch in a year and a have and lets be fair barely even threw one then, only ends one way. All you lot dismissing people as casuals because they dont share you deluded belief in Wlad turning back time to overcome Joshua sound more like the part timers. I am old enough to remember what happens when Wlad gets hit hard by big punchers, many of you were probably toO young to remember, but it aint pretty and make no mistake Joshua will hit him and the light will go out in Wlad long and respected career.
Spot on. It's like people don't even realize that Fury also almost KO'd Wlad in the last round. Wlad was too tired, from not throwing any punches for 12 rounds. People are surprisingly split on this fight, I just can't see it. I see the first 3 rounds going off a bit slow. Then Joshua pops it up a notch and then it's only downhill for WK.

But betting odds alone do not set up an upset. We have to look t the reality of it and no one who understands boxing would count out Wlad or have him as a massive underdog.
I'm genuinely writing Wlad off. There's no chance. I'm not saying that it's set in stone. But Wlad will get mauled.

Let me ask you more specifically. What fights, are a telltale sign that Wlad beats AJ.

          I can't, I really can't

I don't know man, there is something about the air & water in UK that makes guys hype their fighters like the reincarnation of Louis/Ali.. Heck they didn't even try to claim Lennox as one of their own until he hanged em up..
Well we'll be here won't we when the so called "upset" happens..

Even a prime Wlad would be in the brown stuff against AJ, this faded version will be blown away and pretty quickly. Ultimately at no point in his career would Wlad's suspect mandible stand up to the kind of power Joshua brings, so not sure how anyone thinks an aging slowing version of Wlad has a snowball in hell's chance. This fight will be a huge anti-climax, and in the aftermath all we will hear is how did anyone seriously think that Wlad so old and bad he lost to Tyson Fury 18 months ago while barely throwing a punch really had a chance against a young monstrous punching lion like Joshua.
I tend to think the same thing. I tend to think this fight will be a disappointment in that Wlad gets flat run over. I look at Wlad now and he just looks old. He looks tired and ready to check out of the fight game.

I think he took this to pass the torch to the guy he thinks is his rightful heir to the throne and keep it away from Fury, whom he has no respect for. Simple as that.

            • I can remember people thinking Ali could turn back time against Holmes and even against Berbeck, the realists know though you cant cheat old father time, let alone against a man who may have even beat him in his prime. Wlad was a very good fighter in a poor era, but hand on heart i cant think of one fighter he has beaten that would start as favourite against Joshua. Strange though i have managed to quantify why i think Joshua will win comfortably, yet most of those disagreeing dont seem to be able to explain how a rusty old champion who never had the best chin and could barely throw a punch in his last fight beats Joshua, it seems to me the only argument put forward by and large is he is from England so over hyped and you must be a casual not to agree with us.

              • It is Possible, you can't just push guys like Wlad and Pacquiao out the door, these young guys have the SHOW AND PROVE and that goes for all of them. Yeah sure it is fun to Crown them and PROJECT what we THINK they can potentially be but they have to go out and make it official. I THINK it is Joshua's Time but he has to go out and PROVE that it is!

With Wlad, the pressure if off of him because people think he is OLD AND DONE so he really has NOTHING TO LOSE now. Legacy is Sealed so losing doesn't hurt him at all.

                • Wladimir being schooled by Fury doesn't mean he's shot, he was just beaten by the superior fighter. Joshua does not possess Fury's skills.

The fight before Fury, he didn't look particularly great again Jennings (the fight was away from home), but he still won every round, and the fight before that, he knocked Pulev (arguably a top 3 HW right now) into next week.

Klitchko is by FAR much more relevant at 41 than Ali was at 38 ,he has less wear and tear, levels over him in peak fitness and has a game changer Ali wasnt born with and thats world class power . It comes down to motivation ...,expect a VERY capable Klitchko on fight night !

Everything else you said is correct !

Love how you ignored the bet that was offered to you on page 14 like it never happened, don't seem as confident
                      as you're making out
