I'd say the fight still unfolded more in Kovalev's favor, as he appeared to win more rounds, which is how you win a fight.

I saw one guy TRYING to win, and another guy TRYING NOT to lose.

There's a pretty big difference between those two concepts, IMO.

not when it comes to boxing, winning is all that counts

that was a close fight and extremely difficult to score

a draw would have been more appropriate..... that way Kovalev could keep his titles and Ward could keep his undefeated record..... plus, we would still get a rematch

but yea, that didn't happen..... no big deal, it was a close fight

the rematch will be HIGHLY anticipated

hopefully some of the Golovkin fans will buy it this time

Kovalev and his sour grapping team have no leg to stand on. Kovalev got beat by a fighter coming up from a lower weight class. Fight should not had been close if Kovalev was the real champion at the weight. Ward did a great job moving up beating Kovalev while at the same time making GGG look like a bit(h. Two birds with one stone. War Ward!
