I find it funny how fan boys call out cowards who beat their guy. These pansy fanboys want these fighters to continue rematching them until their fighter wins. All the continuing crying makes Ward win even more enjoyable. First they were gloating how Ward would never step up to Kovalev's weight class, and now they are crying cause Ward is carroting the rematch from the cry babies who said Ward would never step up.

The fight happened because Roc Nation paid an extra 3 million dollars to Ward. Ward didn't fight Kovalev because he was brave.

An extra 3 mil... lol. Roc Nation, like 50 cents, and so many others are finding out promoting fights is not so easy. How do you make things profitable? Bunch of fair weather fans around, who is gonna make sure the fighters make money? It would be incredibly ****** for Ward to take a rematch for 5 million or less... Ward makes money on his name, its his job to fight, not promote! Bad as King and Arum are they both understand what a promoter does, Roc Nation sure doesn't seem to.

i don't think Kovalev wanted the fight to unfold like that at all

I think he wanted to put Ward away in round 2

and I don't think he wanted Ward to gain control of those middle rounds

I also think he wanted to have more in the tank down the stretch, so it did not appear like he went missing during the championship rounds

I'd say the fight still unfolded more in Kovalev's favor, as he appeared to win more rounds, which is how you win a fight.

I saw one guy TRYING to win, and another guy TRYING NOT to lose.
