It wasn't about conditioning, back in the day, Zab was the favorite for the olympic spot and David Diaz beat him in 3 rounds quite easily.
Would Zab Judah have dominated the era with better conditioning?

These "Zab would've been great if only" threads come around a once or twice every year and the story remains the same. Zab was what he was.
"If only he was better conditioned"
"If only he could take body shots"
"If only he stayed focus"
"If only..."
This could be applied to a lot of fighters, but the first we always look at is Zab. Zab was an incomplete fighter. Closing up one hole when there are several still would've left him vulnerable.Comment

Judah was an awesome fighter but being an elite guy is mainly mental since they are all talented, so the mental aspect is what sets guys apart. He didn't have an elite mental game, and his chin was fairly shaky (although not exactly glass)
He reminds me of broner in some respects, although he was better fighter than broner. Less durable however.Comment
