I think ggg gonna end up taking a smaller purse with a % and make maybe 2-3 million more than 15 million

Hunger for today, bread for tomorrow. If Golovkin beats Canelo he will get money, but after that he could get even more $$$. But nowadays boxers want paydays not deserving them.

Manny Pacquiao turned down $40m at a time, when he was already getting $20m-$25m a fight.

Golovkin has never seen even $5m on a fight, yet he's supposed to easily turn down triple of even that? lol

Agreed. Golovkin is still an unknown to casual fans. I think 800k is being really optimistic.

              30% of just U.S. ppvs.

Ggg don't want it. Canelo should of stayed with the original 10 mil offer and at 155! Triple b side has no say in this fight, take it or leave it and get older while Canelo gets better! Team triple b side are lame AF!!!

It's a shit deal. He wants to make it seem like it's a wonderful offer so people won't pressure him to fight a riskier opponent.

Even Chavez Sr. said that Canelo did all the diva negotiations with his son and Oscar just says yes. I'm starting to truly dislike Canelo now.
