The first time Brook/Alexander was called off was because of an injury to Brook. The second time, it was Alexander who pulled out, not Brook.

Brook wanting more money was NOT the reason his fight with Vargas didn't happen. The negotiations stalled because the value of the pound vs the dollar fell drastically after Brexit.

Then the Eubanks refused to sign for GGG and Kell was offered the same deal they had turned down.

And when he said his son is NOT ready for the money yet, am guessing he was saying his son is another 2 fights from making that sort of money.

Brook got injured before Alexander, Chaves and didn't fight Vargas because of money, i don't care if Alexander pulled out the second time, I didn't mention twice when talking about Brook getting injured, Alexander getting injured in the rescheduled fight is irrelevant to the conversation.

Hearn told the world that Brook wants more money to fight Vargas, the deal was done of Vargas side and signed, Brook wasn't happy with the fact that Vargas was making more than him.... those were Hearns words, GGG doesn't come into it. That was the convenient excuse now used to back the Vargas saga off.

The same way people would use the "Oh Brook v Khan" was made if Brook didn't end up fighting Spence.

He also was meant to fight Bradley and chaves.

Kell Brook wants to make a quick recovery and prove he is the best welterweight in the world.

The IBF world champion will be sat ringside in Sheffield on Saturday instead of defending his title against Diego Chaves, after suffering a setback in the build-up.

He was also meant to fight Brando Rios.

They wanted a rematch clause for a Rios fight, where Rios would earn even less had he won against Brook.

Ffs .. if fighting GGG wasn't an issue he would have signed the contract and got on with it!

The Eubanks have never given any explanation why they didn't sign that contract and go ahead with the fight.

This is the closest they've come to it: "the monies that we were promised, which was £6m, Junior shouldn't be earning that money yet"

So why do you think Junior didn't sign? Because he lost his pen?

Again this is like saying GGG lost his pen. Fighting GGG was not an issue, they were willing to fight GGG, the same way GGG was willing to fight Canelo... maybe GGG lost his pen too?

but if snr didnt want jnr making that kind of money at that stage in his career.. then they werent ready to fight GGG were they ?

The contracts were sent over to their lawyers, after multiple re-draws because of silly demands. They were issued an ultimatum, they chose not to sign.

If you say thats because snr wasnt happy with the amount of money for junior ( it was too high? LOOOL ) then you're kidding yourself.

It's easy to pick out of context because geee I wonder if Eubank is talking about monies in the same paragraph.... Do you think Eubank Sr. and ITV only just recently thought on how to promote the bout? Those behind the door deals were talked about going back Q2 2016. Eubank Sr.'s got the connects. You've be naive if you think Eubank Sr. would only rely on Hearn or Warren while Junior continues to age...

I'm glad ITV and Eubank Sr. make you feel salty. But you can follow Hearn and Warren around like your average American dumb nut that believes Trump is irrefutable.
In the interview I linked to, Eubank admits that Hearn gave him a deadline to sign. So if he really wanted the fight, then all he had to do was sign before that deadline expired.

If he'd done that, Hearn would have had no reason or, as you would put it, no excuse, to offer the fight to Brook instead. It would have been a done deal, and Jr would have fought GGG, not Kell Brook.

So, if they weren't holding out for more money, why do you think the Eubanks didn't sign that contract?
